Brief History

Mississippi native Jane Shelton began her distinguished interior design career in Memphis. She opened her own unique design shop in 1982. After several years of increasingly successful decorating, Jane was encouraged to travel to Europe to select fabrics for her own distinctive line.

The Jane Shelton collection was launched in 1990 with only one pattern, an English document named Moss Bough. Travis & Company in Atlanta was the first showroom to carry Jane Shelton and has been representing the line in the Southeast ever since. Twenty years later, Jane Shelton Inc. is an international company represented in showrooms in major design centers across the United States and in London.
